The Bonita Springs-Estero real estate market is located just south of South Fort Myers and San Carlos Park and just North of Naples Florida. It has been growing rapidly since the 1990’s and the addition of FGCU and Hertz has helped fueled renewed interest. Bonita Springs and Estero offers luxurious home living and prices much more competitive than the Naples market.
Hertz Corporation announced it is moving its corporate headquarters and about 750 jobs to Estero from its former bases at Park Ridge, New Jersey and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hertz is building a $75 million building at the southeast corner of US-41 and Williams Road on a currently vacant and cleared parcel there that already contains a retention pond. Bonita Springs is a beach community in Southwest Florida and is home to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida Nature Center. Fishing and outdoor activities are popular here, as are the gorgeous sand beaches. Bonita Springs offers Lovers Key State Park, a place that received its name because only lovers went to the trouble to seek its privacy. Today it’s much easier to get to and you don’t need a boat to get to the beach. It’s easy to reach, but still not as well-known as many other state parks. The 2.5-mile beach is lined with natural vegetation and is perfect for beach combing and birding.
